LIVE: “Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon” Theatre Presentation
Date: May 23, 10:30AM
Cost: FREE
Dollywood’s Little Engine Playhouse presents “Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon” in partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and Penguin Random House Canada. This exciting live theatre presentation, tells the story of Molly Lou, a short and clumsy girl with buck teeth, and who has a voice that sounds like a bullfrog being squeezed by a boa constrictor. She doesn’t mind. Her grandmother has always told her to walk proud, smile big, and sing loud, and she takes that advice to heart.
Six Nations Public Library and the Gathering Place by the Grand are excited to bring this event to Six Nations. This is a FREE event, and all are welcome.
Doors open at 10AM, with show beginning promptly at 10:30AM. It is a 20-minute presentation, with a Question & Answer period to follow.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library‘s mission is to foster a love of reading in preschool children and ensure that every child born has books, regardless of their family’s income. Visit their website to learn more about this exciting program, or to sign-up.
