Elders Journey to Community Change on Six Nations: Final Wrap-Up Event

The Elders Roundtable is pleased to invite all community members to their final presentation of the two-year project “Elders Journey to Community Change on Six Nations” on May 29th, beginning at 3:00PM.

This incredible two-year project brings together ideas to increase support to senior community members. It has included meetings on topics such as Transportation, Outdoor Spaces & Public Buildings Accessibility, Community Support & Social Participation, Health & Social Services, Housing, Non-Insured Health Benefits, Respect & Traditional Teachings, and Safety & Elder Abuse. These meetings were open to the public, and were held at locations around Six Nations, including the Gathering Place by the Grand, where the final meeting will be held.

This final wrap-up event will include findings from the two-year project, and presentations from special guest speakers. Everyone is welcome. Dinner is provided.
