The Gathering Place by the Grand is looking for a dynamic and energized individual to join our team!
A stunning and elegant conference and event venue located in Six Nations, the Gathering Place by the Grand offers something for everyone. Filled with spacious meeting areas, and design inspired by the Grand River, the Gathering Place is the perfect backdrop for your next event. In addition to several self-produced events throughout the year, the Gathering Place team hosts a multitude of clients every year for tradeshows, conferences, concerts, and more. Reporting to the Event Planner, the Assistant Event Planner will support the development, coordination, and execution of programming and rentals at the Gathering Place. This programming includes but is not limited to tradeshows, meetings, weddings, and community events. The candidate must possess exceptional communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
This exciting and flexible position will give individuals the opportunity to plan and run events, build strong client relationships, and learn all about the event industry. This position is perfect for applicants with an interest or education in Hospitality, Event Planning, Tourism, or Marketing, and who are looking for a flexible work schedule.
